Places and the Way

Answer me when I call to you, O my righteous God. Give me relief from my distress; be merciful to me and hear my prayer. Psalm 4:1 (NIV)

Like all of you, I've been in a lot of places in my life. Not places around the world, but places where I was experiencing certain emotions, feelings and thoughts. I've been in many dark places, I've been in many happy places, I've had my share of sad and lonely moments. But fortunately I also had my share of peaceful moments.

But through it all, I find myself in a better place and in a certain awareness. My heart is comforted with an assurance that no matter what place I find myself in, no matter the circumstances I find myself in, whether in good or bad times, I know the love and faith within my heart tells me that my Lord is always there for me, as a true shepherd would be. So let us pray together holding hands, making a circle of love and prayer, as our awareness and assurance tells us that God's hands are also involved in this circle.

Lord, Thank You for always being there for me and slowly rearranging my life to praise You and to follow You, and to better understand to trust in You. You were always there in the midst of all the places I've been in. Lord I pray that I will always be in that sacred place of your loving hands. Amen.
