Now when the queen of Sheba heard of the fame of Solomon concerning the name of the Lord, she came to test him with hard questions. 1 Kings 10:1 NKJV So Solomon answered all her questions; there was nothing so difficult for the king that he could not explain it to her. 1 Kings 10:3
There's not a single area in each of our lives that we couldn't use more wisdom. Often out of desperation we seek wisdom from sources that are not so wise. Leaving us with much more of a mess than what we started with. What we really need is God's wisdom.
The Queen of Sheba was not only wealthy, but as a Queen she had to be wise also. Yet, the Queen of Sheba recognized there was something about this King Solomon's wisdom that she'd heard about that prompted her to pay him a visit. Driven, she set out to witness this great wisdom and test it's authenticity.
Although a pagan believer, she knew from the beginning this wisdom had to be tied to his God.

Ultimately, Godly wisdom along with proper application can only come by and through our relationship in and with Jesus Christ. As we seek God for His wisdom about all areas of our lives and apply what He says, not only will our lives be tremendously changed, it will cause even non believers to come and see this all so great wisdom you have acquired. As your life changes for the glory of God others will be curious about your God.
Lord I Ask:
1. In what areas do I need Your immediate wisdom?
2. What unwise sources do I need to relinquish as I seek Your wisdom?
3. What obstacles will seek to hinder me from applying Your wisdom?
God I believe You are the ultimate source of wisdom. I'm choosing to believe that You are willing to provide me with the wisdom needed in my life.
Holy Spirit lead, guide and direct me with wisdom and the boldness of application that it not only changes my life but causes others to want to know more about Jesus Christ.
