Good Morning Son

"When you ask you do not receive" James 4:3

I'm still basking in the pictures in my head of the Seattle- Green Bay game yesterday. Thank you for bringing up the question about believers on both teams praying, but only one won.

I think about Ephesians 1:11 that says: "He works all things according to the counsel of His will." So, when Wilson got on his knee and led his team in thanksgiving to the Lord right after the amazing win, he was praising the Lord "from whom all good gifts come' (James). When Green Bay believers prayed, if their heart was where it should have been, they would have prayed thanking the Lord that His will was done. Only the Lord knows the big picture.

We come back to where we started when we come back to how Jesus taught us to pray in Matthew chapter six when He said to start our prayers with; "Thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven".

Unless we are praying to consume the answer on our lusts, the Lord will give us what we ask unless there is a reason that we don't know about. And, that is sure something for us to shout about.

Lack of prayer power comes from lack of love and obedience, Jesus told us. He said: "If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it will be done for you." in John 15:7. These words became true when the Lord gave us you. The Doctor said we couldn't have children due to your mother's scaring, but we claimed a baby and look at you !

Halleluiah! Thank You Jesus! is all I can say.

I love you, Dad
